Ceramic Matcha Bowl - Matcha Chawan

The Mother Bowl is more than a vessel — it's a collaboration. Co-created by MotherMatcha and Storm Ceramics, a locally woman-owned studio in Johannesburg, each bowl is hand-thrown from lead-free stoneware and kiln-fired right here in South Africa.

Its broad surface and shallower depth are intentionally designed for whisking matcha and hōjicha — giving your chasen room to move and your matcha room to froth. Beautiful, functional, and made with purpose.
